Contract: 37 hours per week (full year including school closure periods)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated School Business Manager to join our supportive and forward thinking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Finance, Facilities, Compliance and Health & Safety. They will have strong financial management skills; successful leadership and management experience in a school setting; and excellent interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be working at a strategic level to improve outcomes for students through:
- Overseeing financial management and budgeting for the school;
- Formulating the long-term business and financial strategy for the school;
- Managing procurement and supplier relationships;
- Developing administrative procedures for the school and to be responsible for maintaining and operating agreed procedures in order to ensure that all statutory requirements are met, including GDPR;
- Proactively seeking opportunities for income generation and ensure best value in all aspects of procurement and resource management;
- Ensuring the school adheres to all health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments;
- Overseeing the maintenance and development of school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.
